At Cision, we're proud of our humble beginnings and how far we've come since. Our story starts with one unique and exceptional man:
Cision Technologies was started in the 1970’s in the basement of my parents’ house in Lawton, by my father Bob Pease. At the time, there was no name associated with the hobby shop, it was just a place for my father to pursue his passion. He was a toolmaker by day and when he wasn't at work, he looked forward to spending time in his own shop. That hobby shop grew to a small addition in my parent’s garage and in 1998, it officially became Pease Machining, at which point we built a new 4,000 square feet facility on M40 in Lawton. In 2012 Pease Machining became Cision Technologies and shortly thereafter we moved to our current location in Vicksburg, with over 14,000 square feet of space.
Dad passed away on August 14, 2013, but his legacy lives on through many of us here at Cision. My father’s passion was key in our formative years and is still the driving force behind our success both today and in the future. As such, we have developed the following Core Values, which define us and what we look for in our staff:
We do what we say
We demonstrate a “Can-Do” attitude
We value time
We are team players
We strive to make a good impression
We take pride in what we do
While you will see these values woven throughout our website, it is our sincerest hope that you experience them first hand as we have the opportunity to work with you and your staff.
